ADEM
What if you no longer know how to continue living – but also do not know how to stay? Adem gives you a glimpse into the mind of a young adult with suicidal thoughts. Raw, honest, and at the same time light and refreshing.
Writer Roel Pronk knows what he is talking about. He himself faced that dark doubt. A personal experience that makes this performance intensely real. With multiple actors, music, silence, and poetry, Roel's thoughts come to life. And yes, it rubs. But it is also recognizable, sharp, and sometimes even funny.
ADEM is not just a story about suicide; it is an invitation to see the world around you with different eyes. It is theater that does not judge, but connects. It invites you to pause. To empathize. And to find hope – especially when you can’t see it anymore.
This is a story that needs to be heard.
This performance has no interval.
