Tilburg welcomes regional edition of the Dutch Dance Days

Tilburg is reinforcing its reputation as a city of dance: in October 2026, Tilburg will host the regional edition of the Dutch Dance Days – the leading national festival for Dutch dance – for the first time

DansBrabant, Factorium, Fontys Academy of the Arts and Schouwburg & Concertzaal Tilburg together form Tilburg Dansstad and are joining forces to showcase the richness of dance. From local artists to the very best in the Netherlands: from 9 to 11 October 2026, Tilburg will be dancing for three days!

Dance in Tilburg: a logical match

As part of Tilburg Dansstad and with a strong, growing dance climate, Tilburg is a natural partner in this new national initiative. The first edition of Dansdagen (Dance Days) Tilburg features a mix of performances, encounters, and in-depth programs, aligning with Tilburg and the Nederlandse Dansdagen: innovative, polyphonic, and accessible.

A festival for everyone

With the arrival of the Dansdagen in Tilburg, the richness of Dutch dance and Tilburg as a Dance City becomes visible to an even broader audience. The edition in our city provides space to experience, discover, and reflect on what dance means today in Tilburg.
